Rose Garden at Mesa Community College

Missing

In a lush profusion of color, the largest public rose garden in the Desert Southwest dominates the north entrance to Mesa Community College. Some 9,000 bushes, with more than 600 varieties, exhibit their abundance of bloom and fragrance most months of the year, with April being the peak of flowering.

The Rose Garden at MCC received formal approval from the All-America Rose Selections (AARS) to become one of 26 test gardens nationwide.  The garden is an American Rose Society Award of Excellence test garden, one of five in the United States.
